Location and time

Please see the Pakki/Lukkarikone apps and follow the information on Proakatemia's and your teams communication channels. In general, the training sessions take place twice a week, four hours at a time, at Proakatemia unless otherwise arranged.

Exam schedules

There are no traditional exams. The team participates in Proakatemia's events i.e. Tiimidiili, sales days, 24H, and demonstrates skills and knowledge by solving real-life business cases. The coach may add or modify cases according to the needs of the team.

Assessment methods and criteria

Active participation in training sessions, dialogue, reflection, and final camp. Self-, peer- and coach evaluation reflecting the set goals.

Assessment scale

Pass/Fail

Teaching methods

There are hardly any traditional lectures or exams at Proakatemia. Learning methods and environments are for example training sessions 'paja' (primings, dialogue, workshops, independent studying), literature, writing and publishing, expert lectures and other fact-finding, project work, seminars, learning cells and common events. Learning is connected with business projects. The teampreneurs are responsible of the content of the training sessions, in co-operation with their coach. Final camp means that an international project is included.

Learning materials

Literature advise from coaches, teachers and other teampreneurs.

Student workload

During the semester 80 h training sessions, 40 h final camp and 40 h teamwork such as 24H.
If prevented, it is possible to cross-pollinate the training sessions.
Training sessions require also
- preparations for the sessions
- getting ready personally (pre tasks, if given)
- reflection.
Training sessions take normally 1-2 x 4 h per week.

Content scheduling

According to the current needs of the team enterprise.

Completion alternatives

In general, teampreneurs participate in the training sessions of their own team enterprise. If prevented or needed for learning, it is possible to cross-pollinate in the training sessions of other teams at Proakatemia or other team academies or similar learning organizations.

If the teampreneur participates in student exchange, their training sessions are replaced with studies in the destination.

Practical training and working life cooperation

The content of the studies is connected with real-life business projects' needs.

International connections

As the business grows and/or there are international projects, international business-related content will be learned in training sessions. The final camp includes an international project.

Further information

Studies at Proakatemia are integrated into teampreneurs businesses. It is not possible to study separate courses in the curriculum without special arrangements.
