Curriculum development and working life cooperation

In TAMK's Developing Event Expertise through Learning at Events (TAOTAO) project, a targeted continuous learning study program is planned and implemented, an event-based learning and guidance model is created, as well as a development circle modeling the event industry network in the Pirkanmaa region and its operating model.

The project utilizes co-development by involving event professionals and using a user-centered co-design process to ensure impact. The project increases the availability of skilled labor, supports recruitment, and improves the industry's retention and attractiveness from the perspective of employees and those considering entering the field year-round. Central to the operation is the construction of career paths and the support of networked activities. Learning at events and the use of continuous learning provide necessary new perspectives on the structural development of event industry education.

The TAOTAO project and its trainings are carried out in cooperation with numerous different event industry companies and organizations. Below are the various event industry stakeholders involved in the development of the curriculum. These also form the central network of actors for the project and the training program.
