Objectives
During the course, you will familiarize yourself with current multiprofessional leadership and development in the social and healthcare sector. In addition, you will gain useful skills in the research process and the basics of research-based development.
After completing the course, the student:
• Understands the importance of customer-oriented leadership in a multiprofessional work community.
• Understands organizational development in relation to strategy.
• Understands information as part of impact assessment and knowledge-based management in the health and social services sector.
• Knows the stages and process of producing scientific information.
• Knows the principles of forming ethical information and understands its significance.
Content
• Customer experience leadership and development in multiprofessional cooperation.
• Strategic management, promotion of organizational culture in multiprofessional work (planning, implementation and evaluation in strategy).
• Research-based knowledge and research-based development as a tool for knowledge management and impact.
• Research process and stages of research, research ethics.
• Basic research methods and basics of statistics.
Assessment criteria, pass/fail
Pass:
The student
• Is able to describe phenomena related to customer-oriented leadership and identify relationships between concepts in a multiprofessional work community.
• Can explain the importance of strategy in organizational development.
• Knows the basic concepts related to impact and knowledge management. Identify the most common methods of knowledge management.
• Knows how to name the stages of the research process
• Identify key practices related to research integrity. Understands the significance of the principles of research integrity as part of the production of scientific knowledge.
• Recognizes research methods and is able to choose a suitable method for the research design.
Fail:
The student
• The description of phenomena and concepts is list-like and quoting. The student does not raise examples from practice.
• Cannot describe phenomena related to customer-oriented leadership. Does not recognize the relationships between concepts in a multiprofessional work community.
• Can't explain the importance of strategy in organizational development.
• Does not know the basic concepts related to impact and knowledge management. Does not recognize the most common methods of knowledge management.
• Cannot name the stages of the research process or can only name individual stages and methods of the research process.
• Does not recognize the key practices related to research integrity and does not understand the significance of the principles of research integrity as part of the production of scientific knowledge.
