Objectives

COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES

The aim of the course is for the student to achieve the oral skills in Swedish required by the Language Decree (6 June 2003/424) and required for work in their own field. European Framework of Reference: Skills Level Objective B1.

After completing the course, the student will be able to

• tell in Swedish about their professional field in writing
• is able to interview and guide customers in Swedish in the customer situation of their field
• use the vocabulary and source literature of his/her professional field
• search for and analyze evidence-based Swedish-language research
• be customer-oriented in interaction situations

Content

Contents

• encountering and directing the customer, presenting the working environment and one's own work in Swedish, as well as the vocabulary and Swedish-language materials of one's own professional field

• interviewing and guiding various clients / taking care of them in customer-oriented Swedish in customer situations, bilingual Finland as a working environment

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The students understand the core content from the most common sources related to their field.

They can communicate in routine interaction situations and change their actions based on the feedback they receive.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The students are able to search for and combine information and understand details from sources in their field.

They are able to communicate interactively in the most common communication situations.

They can evaluate their competence and describe their own areas of development and strengths.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students will understand sources on a wide range of topics.

They communicate interactively in a wide range of industry situations in a way that is clearly appropriate to the situation.

They can also present reasoned solutions for the development of their competence.
