Objectives (course unit)

Student:
- can perceive the life cycle as a continuum and as a mental, physical, and social synthesis taking different stages and events of life into account
- can describe attachment patterns, know how they are formed, and understand their significance in the cycle of life
- can describe the development of emotional life and its significance in the different stages of life
- can describe sexual development and the importance of sexuality education taking mental, physical, and social aspects into account

- Psychological information about the different stages of life
- Knowledge about attachment patterns and the significance of emotional life
- Knowledge about traumas
- Understanding about different possibilities of the life cycle in a relation to mental healing
- Sexual development and sexuality education

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

Can describe goal related phenomena, theory and define basic concepts. The choices, solutions and limits of perspective are not theoretically justified or the theoretical reasoning is straightforward.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

Can apply theory and concepts and structure things in relation to each other. Can define problems and tasks and justify solutions and choices. Can evaluate things and look at them from different angles.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

Is able to analyze information and activities and to combine them with professional context. Is able to search for development opportunities and to justify different approaches and solutions. Can create new solutions or combine existing ones creatively.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Rejected: Goal-related phenomena, theory, and basic concepts are not sufficiently defined, described, or incorrect. Content management inconsistent and incomplete or incorrect. Knowledge objectives are not or only partially achieved.
