Objectives (course unit)
The student
- is able to apply the laws and regulations governing occupational health for client care in accordance with the principles of good occupational health care practice
- is able to evaluate the health significance of working conditions and the environment
in collaboration with different actors
- is able to use the common action plan of occupational healthcare and entrepreneurship while working with a client and a business company
- is able to identify factors affecting employee wellbeing and is able to address them in health check-ups
- is able to conduct health checks under supervision, provide information and guidance related to the health and safety at work, and employee health
- is able to act in open health clinics performing care related and preventive tasks
- is able to work in open-minded medical and preventive tasks
- follows the rules of confidentially and data security guidelines and works in a confidential manner with the employees and partners
- is able to work independently and equally at work, relying on customer and business autonomy
- works responsibly, recognising the limits of his/her expertise
- follows the agreed rules of supervised practical training in his/her own actions
- reflects and evaluates his/her own activities realistically, and is able to give and receive feedback

The student
- is able to independently receive a client and carry out health checks
- is able to evaluate the employee's ability to work and independently carry out health checks and is able to implement coaching for lifestyle guidance
- is able to use the methods of health promotion flexibly and individually
- uses resource-based methods for client guidance
- is able to act ethically in relation to clients and work communities
- is able to work aseptically
Fail
The student
- is unable to independently carry out a reception and health checks
- is unable to assess the client's ability to work
- is unable to use health promotion work methods
- works unethically with clients and the work community
- is not able to act aseptically
- is not able to cooperate in a multidisciplinary way
