Students will participate in individual, small group and whole group tasks online and face to face during contact days at TAMK.
This will include collaborative tasks, individual study, presentation and reflection.

Students will have access to a wide range of materials and resources in Tabula and are also expected to find, share and utilize their own materials.

Contemporary Pedagogical Models (4 crs) - approx 110 hours of study.
Face to face contact days = 35 hours
Online self directed work = 75 hours

Objectives:
Teacher students:
-can compare various pedagogical models
-can give examples of the use of modern education technologies
-know how to plan and guide self-directed learning and professional growth
-can demonstrate understanding of lifelong learning

What are the benefits and challenges of education technology and social media in education?
How does the curriculum guide teaching and learning?
What is reflective, investigative and entrepreneurial approach in education?
What are the emerging trends in education and how will they affect learning and teaching?
