Objectives (course unit)

Student is able to:
- start working with the basic elements of game design and the steps of the design process in game production.
- analyse what rules and game mechanics, storytelling and characters mean in different game genres
- create game design documents
- collaborate in an international student team.

Script writing for games, Visual design for games, Game analysis

Student is able to produce most of tasks during the workshop with the help of teacher guidance. Student does not meet the deadline for the tasks. The tasks lack several aspects of professional qualities.

Student meets the deadline for the tasks and is able to produce all of them. The tasks show potential and the student demonstrates a good basic understanding of the topics covered. The student has improved his or her skills.
