Objectives
Students acquire a thorough understanding of office programs in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Excel is used to learn, in addition to conventional usage, how to convert numbers from a human-understood form to a computer-understood form and vice versa, as well as logical reasoning.
Content
- Producing a Word document
- Producing a PowerPoint presentation
- Excel tasks: table presentation, cell coordinates, calculation, references (relative, mixed, absolute), functions, diagrams
- Conversion of numbers between 2, 10 and 16 systems, IF, AND and OR functions, 1=TRUE, 0=FALSE,
application, e.g., in subnet masks and data network configurations.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
Grade 1:
Students have verified their skills in both Word, PowerPoint and Excel by receiving an approved assessment for all three office programs.
The total score is 50 - 59 % of the maximum.
Grade 2:
Students have verified their skills in both Word, PowerPoint and Excel by receiving an approved assessment for all three office programs.
The total score is 60 - 69 % of the maximum.
