Content

- How can different tools be used when designing and innovating new circular economy products for the textile and fashion sector?
- In what way can the creative thinking process be fed?
- What is the importance of cooperation for the creation of innovations?
- What is product development and innovation that takes stakeholders into account and how does it support success?
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
KNOWING
Identifies different product development and innovation techniques and planning phases. Can describe key terms, understands the factors influencing the innovation process.
MAKING
Participates in activities and performs assigned tasks according to instructions. Gather information.
BEING
Identifies own communication skills. Can act responsibly both independently and as a team member. Can give and receive feedback. Considers own decisions both for individually and for the team.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
KNOWING
Understands the assignment. Can structure the relationships between circular economy phenomena and concepts. Apply the theory to the assignment. Explains and compares alternative solutions. Organizes things in relation to each other.
MAKING
Acquires new information, at different stages of the process. Applies the previous knowledge. Presents justified solution options.
BEING
Develops own interaction skills. Can give and receive feedback actively and interactively (throughout the process). Tests the solutions also from the point of view of the different players in the value chain of the textile and fashion industry.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
KNOWING
Limit the assignment appropriately. Comprehensively understands the circular economy as a whole and e.g. the effects of megatrends on planning and innovation. Generalize, analyze.
MAKING
Can bring his versatile skills to common use. Experiments with new operating models and tools. Creatively combines the positive sides of different solution options.
BEING
Develops new, creative solutions. Systematically uses feedback as a tool for personal and community professional growth. Tests and evaluates solutions in terms of the overall circular economy of the textile and fashion industry, taking into account the different effects.
