Basic knowledge on analog control of nonlinear and linear time-invariant Single-Input-Single-Output systems including use of differential and integral calculus, ordinary differential equations, delay models, complex numbers, matrices, transfer functions, frequency response, PID control etc. TAU teaches such things in Math courses and control courses like AUT.110 (FIN) and AUT.130 (ENG). Basic knowledge in Digital Control like that available in AUT.200 (FIN) and AUT.220 (ENG) is useful yet not necessary.
