Objectives

The core competence fields of teachers’ work are assessment competence, cultural competence, teaching and facilitation competence, partnership competence and wellbeing competence. They form a framework for all competence objectives.

Teacher students
- set learning and competence objectives independently, plan, implement and teach a course according to the curriculum and assess achievement of the set learning and competence objectives
- build and develop different learning environments and learning paths together with their students
- give students feedback which promotes and motivates learning
- evaluate their interaction skills
- identify and develop strengths and development needs in their teaching and facilitation competence
- give constructive peer feedback to other teacher students on planning and implementation of teaching.
