Objectives
During studies in structural mechanics, students will gain in-depth knowledge and skills and methods to solve challenging structural mechanics problems. The student is able to solve structural mechanics problems both by hand calculation methods and computer-aided, and is able to analyze the obtained results and their significance in structural design.

• Structure Management and Stability
• Fundamentals of plasticity theory
• Computer-aided calculation and analysis of structural mechanics
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
Students will be able to identify and define the basics of the course and solve simple applications similar to the tasks being handled.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
In addition to the above, the student will be able to choose and apply the most appropriate procedure from the various options and justify his / her choice.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
In addition to the above, the student has a comprehensive understanding of the course topics and their use in problem solving as well as the ability to present, analyze and justify logical solution methods.
