Objectives

On this course, you will delve into the promotion of public health. Upon completing the course, students will be able to engage in societal discussions concerning the promotion of oral health.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

Explain the levels of health promotion.
Analyze population-level research data on oral health and health behavior.
Describe the objectives of health policies, international and national health programs, and how these objectives are monitored.
Explain the link between common diseases and oral health conditions.
Understand the promotion of oral health from the perspectives of sustainable development and public health.

The student can define what common diseases are and list the connection they have with oral diseases. The student can list some of the key societal impacts of promoting oral health.
