Objectives

On completion of the course, the student will:
• be able to act professionally, in accordance with ethical principles and legislation
• be able to act in a manner that promotes patient and occupational safety
• be able to ensure asepsis and the operational readiness of the reception
• be able to perform the tasks of an oral hygienist in a changing working environment
• be able to work in a client-oriented manner in oral health care for families, children and adolescents
• be able to carry out periodic oral examinations and draw up a follow-up care plan on the basis of these examinations
• be able to guide and instruct families, children and young people in oral self-care
• be able to plan, implement and evaluate a health promotion event
• can act as an expert in oral health care in different networks

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

Accepted:
The student demonstrates mastery of the learning objectives of the training period and completes the tasks assigned for the training period.

Failed:
The student does not meet the criteria for acceptance.
