Objectives

The aim of the course is to give the student the skills to act in one-on-one communication and counseling situations in the forestry sector.

After completing the course, the student:
• understands the importance of communication and interaction skills as part of professional skills
• can evaluate his/her own communication and interaction skills
• knows how to observe and evaluate the communication of others and adapt his/her own communication to suit the situation
• know how different communication and interaction situations (e.g. customer service and one-on-one counseling situations, meetings, negotiations, meetings) typically proceed

Customer service and one-on-one advice situations in the forestry sector. Meeting and negotiation skills

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

Passed: The student knows how to act in advisory situations in the forestry sector. The student knows how to consider the importance of interaction in his communication.
