Knowing: recognizes different paper board and paper making processes, names the parts of the processes and devices, defines the most important terms, understand the factors affecting quality in different parts of the processes.
Acting: manages the assigned tasks under supervision/assisted.
Being: can give and receive feedback, can work in a group, takes responsibility for his/her own work.

Knowing: structures relations between field-related phenomena and concepts, applies knowledge on the tasks. Explains different kind of paper board and paper making processes, compares the different devices and reasons for using these, structures things in relation to one another.
Acting: applies substance matter learnt in previous studies, makes a plan/plans before carrying out tasks, limits tasks/problems to have an appropriate scope, solves problems.
Being: can give and receive feedback actively and constructively, can cooperate responsibly and is ready to develop his/her interaction skills.

- Two exams, 20 points each (total max 40 p., 8/20 p from both parts are needed to pass)
- Group work and its presentation (compulsory to pass the course, max 10 p)
- Voluntary homeworks (max 6 p.: 1 p per each homework that is done well and submitted in time).
- Voluntary participation to lectures (max. 4 points as follows: 4 p (85 - 100 %), 3 p. (75 - 85 %), 2 p. 65 - 75 %), 1 p. (55 - 65 %).
- Activity in lessons can increase the grade
