Objectives

Motivated and committed personnel are a prerequisite for successful and profitable business. Management plays a key role in enabling the development of competence.

Student: 
- is able to interpret and utilise profitability key figures and internal income statement in result-responsible pre-work
- is able to interpret the income statement and balance sheet as a tool for managing a company in the service business sector
- is able to apply different ways to motivate and engage staff
- understands the importance of personnel competence development in their own field

Students compare different methods of motivation, engagement and competence development and justify their choices.

The student understands the wide-ranging entities related to performance-responsible pre-work and the relationships between them.
The student is able to analyze and evaluate different methods and solutions for motivation, engagement and competence development. Combines solutions creatively.
