Objectives (course unit)
Student is able to:
*collect and analyze information about emerging trends in digital culture, media consumption and technologies from essential sources
*research and utilize new innovations in emerging media production

Research, emerging trends in media, media consumption and technologies, making an impact, sustainable ethics.

Teaching methods: Combination of lectures, discussions, problem based learning and project based learning

Practical training and working life cooperation
The course includes the EMEX project, where students are offered the chance to develop concepts and demos for Yle and German RBB.
International connections
The EMEX project included in the course is an international project between three universities in Finland, Germany and the UK.
