Objectives (course unit)

Students - are familiar with the different phases of planning and setting up a business - can plan customer-oriented, profitable and responsible business practices and ethically sustainable products and services for creative industries - identify alternative pricing and revenue models for products and services within creative industries.

Content (course unit)

- business planning: need, solution, market, revenue model, pricing, financial and profitability analysis, channels of sales and marketing - responsibility, ethics and sustainable development in business planning

Exams can be taken flexibly, without being tied to a time during the study period.

Assessment methods and criteria

Assessment will be based on exams linked to the course themes, which will be taken on the course's Hoodle platform. In addition, students will give and receive peer assessments of their coursework.

Further information

The course can be taken individually or in a team (recommended). During the course, students will learn about sustainability and responsibility as a basis for business planning. The output of the module will be assessed through peer assessment and the students' own competences will be demonstrated in the module exams.
