Objectives (course unit)
The students are able to write using moderately complex language. The students are provided with resources and strategies to enhance their written communication skills so that they are able to deliver messages to their readers. The students have good written language skills to work in an international environment in their field. Target level CEFR (Common European Framework Reference level): B2.2
Content (course unit)
The course will focus on helping students improve their written communication skills through practical activities. The topics include workplace report, summary, user documentation and basic grammar exercises (e.g. prepositions, passive voice and tense).
Prerequisites (course unit)
Prerequisite studies: SY220303 Työelämän englanti, SY222303 English for Working Life or CEFR level B2.

Exam schedules
There is no exam for this course, but the grading will be based on written assignments. Students will have three attempts to pass these assignments. The deadlines and dates given in Moodle.
