- Can report measurements according to standards and ethical principles,
- Can plan, implement and analyse an own measurement

Content (course unit)

Basic laboratory measurements related to density and elastic modulus of a wire, error calculations and report writing. Laboratory exercises related to radon measurement (ENVE), light spectrum, viscosity, thermal radiation, thermal expansion (TEMA).

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

Capable of making controlled physical measurements with basic proficiency. Understands and can apply elementary methods to evaluate the reliability of measurements. Can report measurements following standards and ethical principles at a fundamental level. Demonstrates basic skills in planning, implementing, and analyzing a simple measurement.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

Skilfully makes controlled physical measurements and can evaluate the reliability of these measurements. Accurately reports measurements, adhering well to standards and ethical principles. Demonstrates good ability in planning, implementing, and analyzing more complex measurements, showing a solid understanding of the processes involved.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

Skilfully conducts controlled physical measurements and thoroughly evaluates the reliability of these measurements with high accuracy. Produces detailed and precise reports of measurements, strictly following standards and ethical principles. Excellently plans, implements, and analyzes complex measurements, demonstrating a high level of proficiency and a deep understanding of the underlying physical concepts.
