Objectives (course unit)
The course introduces the basics of project management: project planning, funding, budgeting, reporting and co-operating in the field of experience economy and creative industries. The course introduces the terms, roles and responsibilities of a project manager and a team leader.
After the course, the student:
• Can write, analyse and control the project plan, budget, risk analysis, and execute reporting.
• Is familiar with the essential collaborative organisations.
• Can make the project’s communication plan.
• Analyse the marketing environment and make a marketing plan.
• Understands the workflow and roles in a multicultural team.
• Can coordinate multicultural production team and knows the role of a project manager and responsibilities of a team leader.
• Knows how to network, find business partners and do pitching.

Project plan, implementation, trends and idea testing, market analysis.
The hard and soft skills of a project manager, leadership, and pitching.
Professional networking, partnerships and collaboration.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student:
• Is able to produce a basic project plan with minimal budgeting, risk analysis, and reporting.
• Knows how to identify relevant organizations, but applies networking only superficially.
• Is able to draft a simple communication plan and marketing plan without in-depth analysis.
• Recognizes the roles of a project manager and a team leader in a multicultural context.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
The student:
• Is able to effectively plan and manage a project, including budget, risk analysis, and reporting.
• Knows how to identify and engage relevant organizations, demonstrating moderate networking skills.
• Is able to produce a coherent communication plan and marketing plan supported by clear environmental analysis.
• Demonstrates a solid grasp of leadership roles and coordinates a multicultural team effectively.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student:
• Is able to refine all aspects of project management, including advanced budgeting, risk analysis, and comprehensive reporting.
• Knows how to form strategic partnerships through proactive networking and collaboration.
• Is able to deliver an effective communication plan and detailed marketing plan informed by in-depth analysis.
• Excels in leading multicultural teams, demonstrating exceptional project management and team leadership skills.
