Osaamistavoitteet (Opintojakso)

The student
-is able to plan, implement and evaluate medical nursing in multidisciplinary teams, by using evidence-based knowledge;
-is able to recognise the meaning of falling ill for human beings and their families;
-is able to guide and support people and families in issues concerning health promotion, in different stages of illness and in self-care by using the principles of rehabilitative nursing;
-masters the principles and methods of infection control in medical nursing.

International expert lectures ans simulations(mandatory)

Course is a part of Middle Phase studies: prior to course student must have completed 30 credits of nursing studies.
Mandatory participation in Orientation, International Guest lectures, Nutrition lecture, Simulations, and small group sessions. All tasks must be completed by 24 May 2019. Written assignments must be done according to TAMK/tuni's written work instructions and template. References must fulfill evidence- based nursing requirements.

-knows the pertinent contents of medication process of patient not requiring surgery
-is aware of the meaning of multidisciplinary cooperation in the care of patient not requiring surgery
-is able to give satisfactory answers to each exam question
