Assessment methods and criteria
The course is assessed as passed/failed. There is no exam in the course. The student can receive a passing grade by returning the required assignments to Moodle by the deadline. Two material packages must receive a passing grade and all three must be returned by the deadline
Implementation policy on the use of artificial intelligence in studies:
If a student uses artificial intelligence tool(s) in their learning tasks as permitted, they must refer to the artificial intelligences they used and submit the inputs (prompts) they used in connection with their task answers. If the student presents the results produced by artificial intelligence as their own without references, sources and/or inputs, the teacher may not accept the output or require it to be done again. The teacher has the right to ask the student whether they have possibly used artificial intelligence in their learning task.
Assessment scale
Pass/Fail
Teaching methods
The course is implemented as a 100% online course. During the course, the grammar foundation is reinforced by doing written exercises and using text and video material. The main emphasis is on written expression and mastery of structures. The course focuses on reviewing and reinforcing English grammar, so in this online course, practicing oral expression plays a secondary role.
The final grade of the course, pass/fail, is determined based on the written assignments.
Learning materials
See Moodle for details.
Student workload
