The student is able to describe the different manufacturing methods, properties and uses of nonwovens.
The student shows an understanding of the quality requirements of the end product and is able to make suitable choices concerning the raw material, manufacturing and finishing methods.

The student is able to define nonwovens and their most common manufacturing processes and is able to name the applications of nonwovens.

The student is able to solve simple problems that are comparable to the tasks covered in the course.

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet
Exam 60% and reports 40%. Laboratory exercises are obligatory and they will affect the evaluation.
Laboratory excercises are:
30.9., 21.10., 28.10., 4.11. and 5.11.25
