Student is able to
- schedule and resource a small-scale light and sound production or performance event
- use modern lightning equipment and be able to take into account the active and contextual possibilities of a performance
- collaborate in an international student team.

- Rigging light equipment safely
- Basic principles of stage planning
- Lightning software and hardware

PROGRAM AND SCHEDULE
- 18.-27.3. Orientation / independent working on the given task. Instructions and material will be given in Moodle (available from 18.3.). Deadline 27.3.
- 2.-4.4. (10-15): Classes / theory and pre-planning, online on Zoom
- 5.4. (10-14): Independent working on the given task – no classes
- 8.-10.4. (10-16): Workshop / practical hands-on-working with lights in Kuvastudio
- 11.4.-30.4. Independent working on a final task. Instructions and material will be given in Moodle. Deadline 30.4.

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat

Student who has been working as a lighting designer or has former studies of stage and/or event lighting design, may compensate this course or part of it by accreditation or showing competences. In such cases, the student needs to be active and contact Maaret Salminen (maaret.salminen@tuni.fi) on beforehand by email to get further instructions. This should be done before the course starts.
