Objectives (course unit)

Students can adapt their artistic know-how to extensive project- and production work. Students are able to adapt their knowledge in a real working environments and -conditions.

Studying module is possible to execute with other organizations or cooperation companies

Content (course unit)

Studying module can be executed with a co-operation company/ theatre. Structure of the module:
- planning
- guiding
- implementation
- evaluation

- Triple Threat Performer 1 and 2

Further information (course unit)

Studying module may execute also in english, when needed.
Students write a short report, in which they self- reflects the process and learning.

Attendance is required 100%. Consult the director if needed.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Students have done defined tasks in the project.

Location and time

Period-weeks are:
in autumn weeks 45 - 46 and 50.
in spring weeks 7 - 8.
The venue is production spesific, shows at a separately agreed time.
Productions are: Songs For A New World, Suomalaisen musiikin klubi and Rikkinäinen puhelin.

Assessment methods and criteria

Regular participation 100%. Execute all the given tasks.

Teaching methods

Contact/ classroom study. Multidisciplinary workgroup. Module can include one or several of these genres:
- music theatre
- theatre music
- ensemble work
- vocal group/ a cappella group
- chamber music
- orchestra
- playing in a group/ band
- choir
- lied
- opera
- artistic-productive tasks in a production

Learning materials

Is agreed with the director/ supervisor teacher on a project-by-project basis

Student workload

Requires commitment and regular participation, 100%. Plenty of independent and group training. Can contain exeptional schedules.
