Objectives (course unit)
Students are able to teach Pupil in their Substance. They have got Aquaintance in the Facts of Teaching and they can obsesrve and reflect the Lessons.
Choral and orchestra conductor:
Students have the basic pedagogical skills of an artistic director. They are capable of rehearsing basic level groups. Practical training is a part of teacher’s pedagogical studies (60 points).
Content (course unit)
Students familiarize themselfs with their Teacher to the Details and Materials of their own Substance. They will teach one pupil. The Tutor Teacher is with the Student in all Lessons, give feedback and reflect the Situation with the Student. Student observe Lessons using the Plan that their Tutor Teacher has given.
Choral and orchestra conductor:
Working with the rehearsal instruments of the Conducting Class. Observing choirs/orchestras of different levels and age groups. Observing voice and instrument pedagogy or Musical pedagogy.

Hyväksyttyyn suoritukseen vaaditaan riittävä osallistuminen kaikkiin opintojakson osa-alueisiin ja annettujen tehtävien suorittaminen sovitussa aikataulussa. Hylätyssä suorituksessa opiskelijan on täydennettävä osaamistaan vielä jossakin osa-alueessa ohjaavan opettajan määrittelemällä tavalla.

Assessment is carried out throughout the course as both teacher-led and peer-reviewed.

Teaching methods
Instrument pedagogue: Pedagogical practical lectures, pedagogical tasks, introduction to the repertoire, working with the trainee 10 x 30 min.
Music Theory Teacher (both wide-ranging and composing): Lectures in the pedagogical practicum are held according to a separate schedule. The lessons introduce the materials, plan learning sessions, practice bodily methods and logical planning at different levels. Two basic groups are taught with the couple.

Content scheduling
Instrument pedagogy: Pedagogical practicum with autumn emphasis, teaching practice in the spring season.
Music Theory Pedagogy: Pedagogical practicum and teaching practice throughout the academic year.

Rejected: the learner does not show progress or interest in pedagogical studies, neglects assignments, and does not conduct his / her teaching practice in a way that promotes the student.

Accepted: the student has shown activity in the lessons, done the assigned tasks, and performed the teaching practice flawlessly.
Rejected: The student's activity in learning pedagogical abilities is scarce; during the teaching internship period, the transfer of the subject's skills to the internship student does not take place.
