-know the principles of mammography
-know the structure and function of mammography equipment and auxiliary equipment and quality assurance
-know the PGMI meter and can assess mammographic image quality according to it
-discern normal and pathological conditions of breasts
-know the legislation concerning safe medical use of ionizing radiation in mammography and procedures
-can position the most common mammography projections with a training patient in learning situations
-can act aseptically, ergonomically and ethically
