Osaamistavoitteet (Opintojakso)

In this course, the participants learn innovation pipeline for sustainable business openings in a company. They understand how to advance a CE concept including techno-economic analyses and communication. They learn to identify the important target groups in the innovation pipeline and how to communicate with them.

After completing the course, the participants can:
- describe the innovation pipeline of a CE concept in a company
- make plans and schedules to manage innovation project
- conduct necessary analyses to advance the CE concept
- identify target audiences for promoting an innovation
- prepare and execute communication to target audience

Technoeconomic fundamentals.

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1-2) (Opintojakso)

The student can recognise and define CE innovation pipeline in a company. The student can, with the help of others, make plans and conduct analyses. The student gives and receives feedback but considers and assesses things only from his/her own point of view, without being able to generalize and contextualize. The student takes responsibility for her/his own work but commitment to collaborative working and to the shared goal is weak.

The student can explain CE innovation pipeline in a company and structure things in relation to one another. The student can make plans and conduct analysis independently and select the most appropriate course of action from diverse options and justify the choices. The student can apply knowledge, and limit and solve problems. The student can give and receive feedback actively and constructively and is able to generalize and conceptualize his/her views. The student can cooperate responsibly and is committed to collaborative working and the shared goals.

Student can analyze CE innovation pipeline in a company, generalize and relate to the professional context. The student can search for diverse courses of action and solution alternatives, justify his/her choices, and try new courses of action. The student uses feedback systematically as a professional tool for growth in his/her own work and for the benefit of the community. The student cooperates responsibly, flexibly, and constructively and develops his/her own and the group's interaction.

Aika ja paikka

Participation in intensive week and online lectures is mandatory. Students agree together the time and platform of student group meetings. The student chooses place and time for personal distant learning. Every task and assignment have a deadline which must be respected (further details in course moodle) and participate actively during the course to get the best results and learning experience.

There are no exams during this course, the assessment is based on individual and group assignments.

A company visit and lecturers & workshop in the third intensive week, online meetings after the intensive week. Pre-task, group and individual assignments.

Oppimateriaalit

All learning materials are distributed via the course moodle. The student is strongly recommended to find complementary learning material and share it with the others.

The student is expected to do an individual study plan for the course to be able to complete the course within the target time.

Sisällön jaksotus

The course starts in the third intensive week and is closed in online meeting. Active period of the course is April 2023 – June 2023. The assignments have deadlines which will be informed in course moodle.

There are no alternative ways to complete the course.

The student is encouraged to bring working life and personal experience in all its forms to be shared with others.

The student has completed the assignments, but the scope and discussion concerning the topic is narrow and superficial. The participation in group assignments, workshops and web discussions is partial and not constructive.

The student has completed the assignments and has taken into account multiple points of view on the issues showing awareness of their inter-connections. In group assignments, the student has shown openness to the ideas expressed by the other participants, but engagement has varied during the course.

The student has completed the tasks with obvious dedication. The student has discussed the cases analytically and constructively both in individual assignments and group discussions. The student has shown active interest and engagement throughout the course.
