The student will be able to:
• apply concepts of platform economy in strategic decision-making in a team enterprise.
• develop scenarios for evolution of customer needs in order to plan for internet-based business models.
• analyze automatically gathered data and use it for strategic planning in a team enterprise.
• use social media networks and content in marketing and sales in a strategic way.

How to plan for strategic use of digital platforms and social media networks in developing business operations?
How to draft and use scenarios in determining how customer needs will change in the near future?
How to redesign business models based on changing customer needs and innovative use of digital platforms?
What is the role of data in strategic planning of a team enterprise and how to gather and analyze data for strategic planning and decision-making?
How to plan and implement effective use of social media networks and content in sales and marketing?

The student is able to describe the ways how digital platforms and social media impact the business operations of a team enterprise. The student takes part in scenario work for changing customer needs and innovative use of digital platforms. The student takes part in strategic planning of sales and marketing and implementing the strategic decisions of a team on social media. The student is able to gather and analyze basic data on business operations and customer impact.

Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3-4) (OJ)

The student is able to contribute in strategic decision-making of the team enterprise concerning use of digital platforms and social media. The student is able to analyze scenarios for changing customer needs and create new or redesign existing business models based on those scenarios together with others in the team enterprise. The student is active in implementing the strategic decisions of the team and assists others in implementing the strategy. The student is able to gather and analyze data to support the strategic decision-making of the team.

The student is able to take a leading role in strategic decision-making of the team enterprise concerning use of digital platforms and social media. The student is able to create and analyze scenarios for changing customer needs and create new or redesign existing business models based on those scenarios for corporate customers. The student has a leading role in implementing the strategic decisions of the team and develops processes for implementing the strategy in the team enterprise or for corporate customers. The student is able to develop effective processes for gathering and analyzing data from business operations for the strategic decision-making of the team or corporate customers.
