Objectives (course unit)

Students
-know the structure and function of fluoroscopy (C-arm) and auxiliary equipment
-know the most common fluoroscopy and angiography examinations and procedures carried out to adults or children
-know the principles of safe working in fluoroscopy, angiography and procedures
-know how to guide patients in fluoroscopy and angiography and procedures
-discern the findings discovered in fluoroscopy, angiography and procedures
-know the medicine and contrast agent used in fluoroscopy, angiography and procedures, their influence mechanism as well as their side effects
-know how to act in case of emergency
-in basic clinical training, can use instruments used in fluoroscopy and angiography and also can act aseptically

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

-can name the principles of radiation safe working in fluoroscopy examinations and radiological procedures
-can name concepts related to fluoroscopy and angiography examinations and other radiological procedures
-can name the basics of aseptic working
-can put on the protective clothing in the basic clinical training and can use equipment directed
-can count the medical calculations correctly

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

-can explain the principles of radiation safe working in fluoroscopy examinations and radiological procedures
-can explain the basics of aseptic working
-can explain the process of fluoroscopy and angiography examinations and procedures and can identify the basic equipment
-can put on the protective clothing in the basic clinical training and can use equipment nearly independently
-can count the medical calculations correctly

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

-can reasonably explain the principles of radiation safe working in fluoroscopy examinations and radiological procedures and evaluate as well as apply working methods
-can reasonably explain the process of angiography examinations and radiological procedures and can use the concepts correctly
-can apply his/her knowledge of the basics of aseptic working
-can identify the basic equipment and can explain restrictions and possibilities related to their use
-can put on the protective clothing in the basic clinical training and can use equipment correctly
-can count the medical calculations correctly
