International Art Collaborations 1 (5 op)

Osaamistavoitteet (Opintojakso)

Student is able to work in international art scene as a professional level and gets an international network. Student is able to produce art projects within international student group. Student is able to operate in different cultures and communicates fluently in social media. Student develops observing, analysing and critical thinking in international contemporary art scenes, creative collaboration, project management and export of the art works as well as representations.

Sisältö (Opintojakso)

Student brainstorms and makes short presentations in various virtual platforms. Student rewrites their artist’s profile in order to find work partners. Student accomplishes art projects on Internet in a group of international partners. Student groups deliver presentations of their collaboration projects to the virtual galleries, international exhibitions and artistic book projects.

Practise based co-creation learning and as a follow up art exhibition will take place at Berlin, where participating students are warmly recommended to join.

Blended implementation in Fall 2022. In person meetings at Mediapolis, visits at Gallery Nykyaika in Tampere and online Teams sessions.

International online conferences, group discussions, individual work in international student group.
Miro and Slack will be the online platforms for our works and documents.

Co-creative artistic process and producing work within international teams. Need for open minded attitude for new ways to approach artistic profession.
On line participation in to online-conferences, group meetings, virtual platform Miro and virtual collaboration with other students in Slack.

Kansainvälisyys

Joint course with TAMK international partner universities: Korea (CAU), Canada (OCADU), Germany (BTK), WTU (China) and Mexico (UAeMex).

Also called as INTAC, this course is part of international INTAC-touring exhibition concept. Following international activity Fall 2022. As a follow up of the Fall an international exhibition will take place at Berlin at spring 2023.

Student is able to master the subject matter acceptable way.
Student has a lot of absenses and general activity is low.
Reached competencies are tentative and student has difficulties to apply his/her knowledge to practical work.

Student is able to master the subject matter well.
Student has some absenses but general activity good.

Activity in group activities and full filling the teaching tasks is excellent and student is able to master the subject matter well.
Reached competencies are in outstanding level and student is able to apply his/her knowledge to practical work and can innovate both new approaches and their applications in cultural field.
