2. Practical Training 20 ects (30 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The practical training familiarizes the students in a supervised manner with the practical work assignments of the field, as well as with the application and deeper profieciency of knowledge and skills in working life.

After having completed the course the students
- have learned the rules of working life
- can apply learned theory and skills in working life
- are able to use the practical methods and concepts of their study path
- are able to plan their career based on the practical training experience
- can create their networks and contacts to working life
- can collect ideas for the Bachelor’s thesis.

What does supervised practical training mean?
What are the work tasks of BBAs?
What are key concepts and methods in my study path in practise?
How to act as a member of work communities?
What are my 'development areas' as regards working life skills?

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Approved:
The student has worked in the work assignments approved by the supervisor in accordance with the agreed number of hours, submitted the required documents to the supervisor and completed the feedback discussion about the training with the supervisor.
Fail:
One or more of the criteria for the practical training (see above) are missing.

Location and time

2. Harjoittelun (20 op = 540 tuntia eli n. 13 viikkoa kokoaikaista työtä) voit suorittaa (syksyn 2021) kevään-syksyn 2022 aikana omaan tahtiin.
Kiirettä ei ole, koska tämä on aikataulutettu tutkinto-opiskelijoiden 3.-4. opiskeluvuoteen.

Teaching methods

Työskentely harjoittelupaikassa tai omassa työpaikassa, vapaaehtoinen sparraus parityöskentelynä, kehittämistehtävä ja oppimispäiväkirja valmentajalle. Kaikki dokumentit palautetaan ryhmän Moodleen.

Content scheduling

HARJOITTELUPAIKAN HYVÄKSYTTÄMINEN
Hyväksytä suunnittelemasi harjoittelupaikka valmentajalla ennen sopimuksen laatimista.
Mikäli teet harjoittelun erillisenä harjoittelujaksona uudessa työpaikassa, tehdään harjoittelusta sopimus sinun, harjoittelutyönantajan ja valmentajan kesken Oiva-järjestelmässä https://oiva.tamk.fi/
Jos teet palkattoman harjoittelun, muista rastittaa ao. ruutu harjoittelusopimuksessa. Mainitse tällöin myös työnantajalle, että TAMKin ryhmätapaturmavakuutukset ovat voimassa palkattomassa harjoittelussa.

Completion alternatives

Aiemman työkokemuksen tai aiemman liiketalouden alan harjoittelun hyväksiluku.
