Introduction to ICT Field and Team Work (6 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

After completing the course, the student knows the basic principles of working in a team and is able to act accordingly, is able to develop his / her higher education and is able to distinguish the different areas of expertise in the ICT field.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student is able to describe his / her own activities in the team.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student is able to analyze his / her own activities as a team member.
The student is able to analyze the activities of the team and its members.
The student can develop his / her own learning and skills independently.
The student is able to describe the professional requirements and skills needed in the ICT industry.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student is able to broadly analyze his / her own activities as a team member through various analyzation methods by comparing the results with his / her own experience of teamwork.
The student is able to analyze the work of the team and its members based on literature and his / her own experience of teamwork.
The student is able to develop his / her own learning and skills independently and with the support of the group and to schedule and organize his / her own learning process.
The student is able to develop himself / herself as an actor and expert in ICT.

Assessment methods and criteria

Opintojakson arviointi
Opintojakso koostuu 4 casen ja tiimipäivien/-iltapäivien sisällön hyväksytystä suorittamisesta ja kirjallisen oppimispäiväkirjan kirjoittamisesta.
• Numeroarviointi perustuu opiskelijan ja opiskelijaryhmän case-työskentelyyn (50 % arvosanasta) sekä yksilön tiimityöhön ja oppimispäiväkirjatuotokseen (50 % arvosanasta).
• Läsnäolo opintojakson lähitunneilla (case-opetuksessa ja valmennuksen osuuksissa) on pakollista. Läsnäolo vaikuttaa arvosanaan merkittävästi.
• kahdesta sovitusta poissaolosta korvaava tehtävä / case
• luvattomat kaksi poissaolokertaa/case alentaa arvosanaa (1 arvosanan alennus kokonaisarvosanasta)
• toistuvista sairauspoissaoloista vaaditaan lääkärintodistus
