Esitietovaatimukset (Opintojakso)

Participation in the theoretical studies and orientation to clinical training, which are based on clinical simulations. The simulations are carried out in the 4th and 5th semester

Pass
The student
- is able to plan and implement nursing care safely, independently and as a team member
- works professionally and ethically

Fail
The student
- puts patient safety at risk

The simulation are carried out in Taitokeskus

Approved performance requires preparation, 100% attendance, and active participation in the simulation practice.

Pass
The Student:

- is active in various roles in the simulation
- is able to act in emergencies cases
- identify situations that threaten the patient's condition
- is able to find out the key issues about the patient's current situation
- is able to inform the patient about the condition and changes in the condition

Fail
The student:
- does not actively participate in simulations
- Emergency response endangers the patient's life
- does not recognize life-threatening situations in the patient's condition
- acts improperly in the situation
- is unable to inform the patient about matters related to the condition.
