Business Competence (10cr)

Objectives (course unit)

The goal is that after completing the module, the student will be able to understand different areas and principles of business competence.

Content (course unit)

Getting to know business idea and competence, operating environments, markets, goals and financing, and data analytics in the development of the company's operations. Learn about business planning and business models in the ICT field.

Understanding Business
The student working in a group is able to plan business according to the instructions given.

Data Analytics
The student knows the basic methods of data analytics.

Investment and Finance Calculations
The student can calculate a simple interest rates using spreadsheet program.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

Understanding Business
The student is able to work independently plan business.

Data Analytics
The student is able to use analytical tools to capture data.

Investment and Finance Calculations
The student is able to calculate various periodic performances and investments using a spreadsheet program.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

Understanding Business
The student is capable of implementing and developing business operations independently and applying.

Data Analytics
The student is able to apply analytical methods and software in practice.

Investment and Finance Calculations
The student is able to plan and calculate periodic performances and investments using a spreadsheet program.
