Objectives (course unit)

Student is able to
- conduct a measurement task
- write a measurement data sheet
- calculate the results of the measurement
- make a graph representing the results
- make an appropriate error analysis
- draw up a report in accordance with standards

Content (course unit)

Measurements, Calculations of the results, error analysis. Drawing up appropriate technical reports about the measuring tasks.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

Student has accomplished all required learning tasks. In the reports, the measuring methods and results are presented, but text is immature. The structure and analysis may contain some errors.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The measurements are properly completed and reports are written according to the reporting guidelines. Analyses and results are correct, but the text, explanations and comments ares sparse. Student is able to use visual elements and references.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The measurements are properly completed and reports are written according to the reporting guidelines. Working has been active and student shows ability to work both individually and in group. Analyses and results are correct and the text is fluent, transparent and comprehensive. Student demonstrates to understand the methods and their limitations and the connection to engineering field.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Fail: Not all required assignments are fulfilled or student has been absent
