Osaamistavoitteet (Opintojakso)

The student
- knows the history, structure, principles, service deliveries and basic legislation of the social-, health- and rehabilitation systems
- knows in general the practices of the social and health care professions
- knows the actual challenges of the social-, health- and rehabilitation systems.

Sisältö (Opintojakso)

- the ideology of welfare and its development
- guiding principles of the central legislation
- official control of the professions of social and health care
- public politics
- the structure and options of the service system (public, private and third sector)
- the basic concepts and questions of the economy
- the challenges of service integration, ageing, client-focus, technology, digitalisation, medicalisation, multi-culturalism and economics

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1-2) (Opintojakso)

The student
- is able to name the concepts of the social, health and rehabilitation service system and is able to describe the main principles of the system.

Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3-4) (Opintojakso)

The student
- the student is able to identify the social, health and rehabilitation service system organisations and their responsibilities.

Arviointikriteerit, kiitettävä (5) (Opintojakso)

The student
- is able to describe and specify the suitability and manner of organisation of the social, health and rehabilitation service system in accordance with the individual needs of the client.

Tenttien ja uusintatenttien ajankohdat

group exam: 20 February
If not on time for the test or not present, or not fully participating in all work forms of the course,an individual exam.
Retake 1. in March 20
Retake 2. in April 20.

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

Graded:
50% of the grade is seminar work and 50% is theory exam.
All the approved tasks and work forms of the course are mandatory.
All tasks are due 18 February 2020.
