Objectives (course unit)

Student can:
- search for information and build on the source materials an understanding of the current situation in our line of business and development needs of it
- build her/his own development plan with the support of the development needs of its own business
- choose studies according to her/his development plan

Content (course unit)

- changing work in the service sector
- the latest business knowledge as a starting point for development
- the impact of the global operating environment in the own line of business
- personal study choices

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

Student
- identify sector entities and the relationships between them and can identify the information they have acquired to identify business development needs
- is able to search the research information for the development needs of his / her own field
- examines and evaluates things from its own perspective

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

Student
- structure the sector and the relationships between them and to compare the acquired information to find the development needs of the sector
- can search the research data for the development needs of his / her own field
- is able to describe and evaluate himself / herself and the operating environment in which he / she works

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

Student
- understand the complexities of the business and the relationships between them and can analyze the acquired knowledge to find the development needs of the business
- is able to find and select research needs for the development of his / her field
- examines and assesses themselves and the operating environment in which they operate
