Objectives (course unit)

The student masters the CAD based product design and development process with Vertex CAD software.

Content (course unit)

In the course, the 3D-modeling (parts, assemblies, drawings) is dealed with Vertex CAD software.

Location and time

The course can be studied independently without time restrictions. It is possible to load Vertex G4 to one's own device. All parts must be downloaded to the PDM-system which is located in the local network of TAMK.

Teaching methods

The course will be realized as a virtual course. Educational videos from every operation needed are available for the students.

Extra learning materials will not be needed.

The student has returned some material with his/her own pictures, but some parts are missing and the returned pictures are incomplete.

Assessment criteria - good (3-4) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

The student has returned the material with his/her own moderate pictures, but with some lacks, or there are problems with basic design (collision between parts etc.)

Assessment criteria - excellent (5) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

The student has returned the material with his/her own pictures completely or almost completely and has tried to design an extra assignment so that it could be produced in reality.
