Roadmap for Risk Management and Circular Economy (5op)

Osaamistavoitteet (Opintojakso)

In this course the participants will create a plan that will guide them through the Master’s programme in risk management and circular economy. The participants know the overall view of circular economy and recognize the future potential and possible risks involved with it. They understand the role of life cycle assessment (LCA) as a part of circular economy and you know the principles of carrying through an LCA. The participants know also the goals of circular economy on a local, national (e.g. Finland, EU) and global levels. The participants will use the principles of co-creation method in managing design processes, products and services in circular economy. They can justify phenomena in circular economy in critical perspective.

Aika ja paikka

In addition to common meetings during the intensive week and group meetings in virtual platforms, you can choose time and place for your studies as they fit the best to your own timetables. The course has pre-set checkpoints with assignments to be completed by the deadlines to help you to progress during the virtual endeavour.

Tenttien ja uusintatenttien ajankohdat

There are no exams during this course, the assessment is based on the virtual assignments and peer-review process.

Opiskelumuodot ja opetusmenetelmät

Contact sessions during the first intensive week, virtual meetings (a link for entering the virtual meeting room is provided in the course's Tabula-page), distant learning, and virtual assignments. The assignments are to be done partly in groups and partly individually.

All learning materials are distributed via the Tabula page and we strongly recommend you to find materials on your own and share the materials you found with the others.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

You are expected to make your own study plan for the virtual studies. The course has been designed so that it contains several checkpoints thourghout the course, to help you to get the best results and learning experience.

The course is divided into sections that are called "checkpoints" in the Tabula. The checkpoints come roughly with two-weeks intervals. Please, see the Tabula-page for further information.
