Student is able to work critically with environmental issues in fine art productions. Student is able to use creative methods and diverse strategies of sustainable development of environment.

Sisältö (Opintojakso)

Student makes a presentation of an environmental art project, which is based on sustainable studies.
Student makes a plan of an environmental project with sustainable strategies.

Aika ja paikka

Lessons beginning are on Wednesday, 12.9. at 10:00. All lessons take part in Mediapolis, classrooms 20064 and 19905. The teacher for the course is Tiiu Baldwin.

Grading is based on your work, effort, attitude, class participation, and attendance & punctuality. The degree of difficulty and risk-taking of your projects will be of utmost importance in grading.

Wed 12.9. 10-14 (room 20064) Introduction to the course Art and Enviroment workshop. Introduction to environmental art.
Thu 13.9. 11-15 Visit to Hatanpää, collecting the first samples.
Wed 19.9. 13-16 (room 19905) Students present their first tests with materials.
Wed 26.09. 13-16 (room 19905) Individual tutorials with teacher, student will present the art and environment project plan.
Wed 10.10. 13-16 (room 19905) Individual tutorials with teacher, student will present the process of his/her art project.
Wed 31.10. 13-16 (room 19905) Middle feedback, group seminar, each student will present the process of his/her art project.
Wed 14.11. 13-16 (room 19905) Individual tutorials with teacher, student will present the process of his/her art project.
Wed 28.11. 13-16 (room 19905) Individual tutorials with teacher, student will present the process of his/her art project.
Wed 13.12. 10-16 (room 20064) Final feedback, group seminar each student will present his/her finished project and notebook.
