Objectives (course unit)

The student knows how to use social networking, blog publishing, microblogging services to broadcast and to communicate with targeted audiences. (S)he is also able to establish and moderate online discussion groups and wikis for knowledge and community building.

Content (course unit)

Individual and team work with free online social media services and collaborative tools.

The individual and collaborative assignments are assessed based on the quantity and quality of input, teamwork skills and effort and peer to peer feedback.

Attendance is low, but over 50% of tasks are returned. The quality of input is below average. Some assignments miss their deadline. Peer to peer feedback is below average. The student grasps the subjects on a basic level.

The student attends most of the online events and most of the tasks are returned. The quality of input is average or slightly above average. No deadlines are missed. Peer to peer feedback is mostly good. The student grasps the subjects on a good level.

The student attends all of the online events and each task is returned. The quality of input is above average. No deadlines are missed. Peer to peer feedback excellent. The student grasps the subjects on an advanced level.
