Objectives (course unit)
Student is able to
- guide the patient to basic clinical physiology examinations in a client-oriented manner considering the preparation instructions
- take care of patient safety and wellbeing during the examination
- know basics of patient examination methods
- perform the ECG registration, measure resting blood pressure, and evaluate reliability of results based on reference values
- identify normal ECG curves and the most common deviations of the normal curve
- know basics of the clinical exercise test
- understand the meaning of the day registration of ECG and blood pressure

Carrying out high-quality ECG-registrations
Systematic identification of ECG-curves
Blood pressure measurements at rest
Practice of the clinical exercise test
