Objectives (course unit)

During the course, students delve into their own strengths and areas of development as superior and develop their own superior identity and interaction skills.

Students:
- are able to identify their own strengths and areas of development as a superior
- are able to set goals and plan for their own development
- understand the importance of interaction skills in superior work.

Content (course unit)

How can I grow and develop into a skilled foreman?
How can superior interaction skills develop?
How do I lead myself?

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student recognizes their own strengths and areas of development as a superior and understands the importance of interaction in the work community and superior work.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

Students are able to lead themselves and their work community and are able to set goals for their own development.
The student is able to inspire, motivate and commit the personnel to work in accordance with the goals of the work community by utilizing group interaction.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

Students are able to analyze and develop measures to develop their own leadership. Students identify issues related to their own professional identity and self-image and are able to develop them. They are able to plan and find diverse solutions for developing interaction, promoting a healthy work community. The student is able to apply leadership models and practices that are suitable for him/herself in a diverse manner. They understand the importance of self-management and self-awareness in superiorl work and are able to develop the skills in question.

Kurssi toteutuu 25.8.-7.10.2025 maanantaisin klo 11.30-14 ja tiistaisin klo 11.30-14.
Paikka: TAMK ja ohjattu etäopetus zoom-ympäristössä

Assessment methods and criteria

Kurssi arvioidaan asteikolla 0-5.
Kurssin arviointi muodostuu seuraavista osista:
-oma kehittymissuunnitelma - 35 %
-pienoistutkielma - 35 %
-ryhmätentti - 20 %
-itsearviointi - 10 %

Student workload

-1 op vastaa opiskelijan 27 tunnin työtä keskimäärin riippuen opiskelijan omista tavoitteista, aiemmasta kokemuksesta
-jakaantuu: noin 50 % kontaktia (luentoja, harjoituksia ym. kontaktiopiskelua), noin 50 % itsenäistä työskentelyä tai tiimeissä työskentelyä

Content scheduling

-kurssi toteutuu perioidilla 1 maanantaisin ja tiistaisin klo 11.30-14 lähikertoina TAMKilla tai ohjattuna etäyhteydellä.
-moodleen tulee tarkempi aikataulu, joka avataan kurssin aloituskerralla 25.8.25.

Completion alternatives

AHOT-osaamisen näyttö.
Jos opiskelijalla on aikaisempaa osaamista opintojakson osaamistavoitteiden mukaan, niin opiskelija tekee hakemuksen Hyvähot-järjestelmään pe 22.8. mennessä. Jos opiskelija hyväksytään AHOT-osaamisen näyttöön, saa hän erilliset ohjeet.
