Objectives (course unit)
The student will be able to:
• specify the concepts of business ethics and social responsibility.
• understand the significance of sustainable business and related laws, regulations and practices.
• do business in his/her team enterprise in a manner that demonstrates due diligence in every aspect, regarding for example financial administration, human resources management and ecological sustainability.
• identify the different sources of business risks and know how to manage them
• comply with the legal obligations of a company, like filing and paying VAT returns, etc.
• comprehend how setting and applying company values will impact the practices of a business.

What does responsible business and ethics mean for student's own team enterprise?
What kind of conversation do ethics provoke in different business environments and why?
How does the student and his/her team manage the legal obligations of their team enterprise considering financial administration, human resources and ecological sustainability?
What are the values that guide the student and his/her team in their team enterprise's decision making?
Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)
Passed
The student has demonstrated that he/she comprehends the responsibilities and obligations of his/her team enterprise and has applied them in practice together with other team entrepreneurs. The student operates according to the chosen values.
Failed
The student knows the concepts of responsibility and ethics only superficially or is not able to apply them in practice in his/her team enterprise. The student does not operate according to the chosen values.

Exam schedules
There are no traditional exams. You'll demonstrate your knowledge and skills in various ways, i.e. solving challenges. The coach/teacher will provide further details as the course goes on.

According to the curriculum: self, team, coach/teacher, and possibly customer-based evaluation reflecting the set goals.

Teaching methods
There are hardly any traditional lectures or exams at Proakatemia. Learning methods and environments are for example training sessions (primings, dialogue, workshops, independent studying), literature, writing and publishing, expert lectures and other fact-finding, project work, seminars, learning cells and joint events. Learning is connected with business projects.

The student knows the concepts only superficially or is not able to apply them in practice in his/her team enterprise. The student does not operate according to the chosen values and procedures.
