Themes of the Leadership (5 op)

Osaamistavoitteet (Opintojakso)

In this course the students gain deeper knowledge about different leadership theories and themes.

After completing the course the students
- have got a wide knowledge of leadership themes
- understand the meaning of leadership theories
- recognize the different themes of leadership
- are able to put them into practice in their own organizations.

Sisältö (Opintojakso)

What are strategic leadership, diversity leadership, crises leadership, shared leadership, etc.?
What is modern management / leadership?
How can one develop the leadership in their own organization and grow into a talent man-ager?

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1-2) (Opintojakso)

The student knows different theories and themes concerning leadership and is able to list the most common features about some of them.

Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3-4) (Opintojakso)

The student knows the most common themes of leadership and is able to choose some fea-tures from them to use in practice.

Arviointikriteerit, kiitettävä (5) (Opintojakso)

The student understands deeply the different theories and themes concerning the leader-ship, is able to evaluate and combine them successfully, and put them into practice in their own organization.

Tenttien ja uusintatenttien ajankohdat

Ryhmätentti suoritetaan 21.2.2023 oman tiimin kanssa klo 11.00-14.00 välisenä aikana. Pauliina huolehtii tiimien kokoonapnoista.

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

The course has an exam, which will be made by the whole group.
The course is completed by being present and completing the assigned tasks (2 book reflections by videos, and learning diary). For this reason, the presence is mandatory. Absences only with a doctor's permission.

The rating is on a scale of 1-5.
The exact definitions of assessment will be given on the first lecture.

The teaching methods are:
-lectures

Oppimateriaalit

Huolehdithan, että tietokoneessasi on toimiva kamera, sillä emme ikävä kyllä voi hyväksyä sellaisia osallistujia mukaan, joilla ei ole koko kurssin aikana mahdollisuutta olla yhteydessä kameran välityksellä. Vaatimuksena ei ole pitää kameraa auki koko neljän tunnin luennon ajan vaan silloin, kun kameraa tarvitaan. Ehdottomasti aina etäluentojen alkaessa ja etenkin silloin, kun on kyseessä vuorovaikutteinen luento-osuus sekä pienryhmissä tehtävät työt.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

Kurssikertoja on yhteensä 10, joten tunteja kertynee näistä yhteensä 40.
Olemme varanneet luennoilta saatavien tehtävien tekemiseen kaksi luentokertaa.

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat

Kurssia ei voi suorittaa vaihtoehtoisin tavoin.
