Asian Studies (2 op)

Osaamistavoitteet (Opintojakso)

The students will get acquainted to Asian culture, society, politics and the way of life as well as how those factors influence the way Asians do business. The course will concentrate to the East and Southeast Asian region.

After successfully completion of the module, the students will have
- deep understanding into Asian society, history, culture and politics
- knowledge about language and communication
- understanding about the role of India in world politics
- business practices.

Application:

The application for the next year Asian Programme is usually in October.

The students may apply for the whole programme or for individual courses. The instructions and application form will be available at www.asianet.fi. Students wishing to complete the whole program should begin their studies in the spring period.

Students can study 2-26 credits. Students from universities of applied sciences may also apply, if their school is willing to pay for the studies. The studies cost 40 € / completed credit and 10 € / not completed credit. For more information, see the Asianet webpages.
